Starting January 12, 1999, you will have the opportunity to have your 1998 individual tax returns prepared by a member of our staff at CPA Tax Center. Fees start at $75 (federal only, standard deduction), and include electronic filing at no additional cost. You must have a valid credit card to take advantage of this service.
With your tax information in front of you, simply respond to questions in our automated interview program, available 24 hours a day. The member of our staff assigned to your return will call you, at the date and time specified during the interview, to review your return, and to confirm the fee (we accept MasterCard or VISA). The return will be prepared, with the paper copy and the electronic declaration form sent to you - via two day mail - for signature. Once the preparer receives back you signed declaration form in the mail, the return can be transmitted. Generally, your refund can be in your bank account within 10-16 days from the date it is transmitted.
